As suspected by some, I've not been the best about posting since Thomas was born, but I'm going to try to catch up between now & Christmas. We are embarking on a new kind of an old experience around here with Friday marking the start date of Chad's first deployment as a family of three. It will be a challenge for us all and I hope to post some blog pictures so Chad can see without loading up his email! A couple of departure day photos at right: stowaway attempt, playing around in the backyard, early Merry Christmas, and not a bad way to wait for the airlift...

Happy Birthday!

Hi all! We had a great day yesterday as we welcomed our little boy into the world at 8:09am. Thomas Hendrick Coursey weighed in at 7 pounds, 10 ounces and was 21 inches long. I'll do a little more uploading of the close up photos we have on our phones, but I definitely think he looks like Chad. He looks like a blondie from the front with red hair in the back, so we'll have to see how it turns out:). Love to all & thanks for all of your calls, texts, prayers, and LOVE! Come visit us...

Can we get a baby for this room???

Hi friends and family--

I'm practicing blogging for when the baby actually arrives so hopefully I can get all of our photos sorted and in one place. A couple of you had asked about what colors we were doing for the baby's room, so here are some photos. I guess the short answer would be...lots of colors without changing the paint color on the wall! We are looking forward to the baby's arrival in a couple of weeks and can't wait to see everyone who will be visiting this spring!

In Other News...

Again I've failed in the blogging world [*sigh*]. Our house renovation is complete, we are settling into life in Florida, and expecting the arrival of our baby in April!

What we've been up to....

Hello again. If you're reading this you likely know that we'll be on the move again very soon! I've posted the photos of the house before (which show up REALLY tiny on my web albums for some reason), and below those are the ones taken during our renovation. We are looking forward to completion and hope we will have lots of visitors!

Graduation--woo hoo!

Our next trip was again back to Mississippi to celebrate Houston's graduation from Ole Miss.  It was a crazy trip since US Despairways delayed our flight enough to have to send us through New Orleans to get to Jackson to get to Oxford, but we made it and were happy to see Houston walk across the stage.  Congrats, Hou!
