Graduation--woo hoo!

Our next trip was again back to Mississippi to celebrate Houston's graduation from Ole Miss.  It was a crazy trip since US Despairways delayed our flight enough to have to send us through New Orleans to get to Jackson to get to Oxford, but we made it and were happy to see Houston walk across the stage.  Congrats, Hou!

Spring

So...following the cross country move and what seemed like a whirlwind holiday visit to Mississippi and back, we settled into the New Year with a new job for me and a trip BACK across the country for Chad.  Correct...after a ~2 week trip to get here, Chad got back on a plane to do a one month training stint on a carrier based in...the Pacific Northwest!  Fortunately it was pretty short and he was back in time for Valentine's Day.  The next couple of months were busy ones for me as I prepared for ABA board exams...for sure glad that is over.  We were able to make it into a nice trip, though, and see a couple of sights and plays while I was in New York for the dreaded thing.  We also were able to work in a little East coast hiking, a half marathon for Chad, and a visit with my parents to some historic Virginia landmarks!

Movin' On

So...more than a year later, I guess a lot has happened!  For all 1.5 people who are reading this, we've moved across the country to Virginia.  We miss Washington every now and then, especially friends there, but are having a great time being on the East Coast and catching up with old friends.  The photos are a few images on the way out.  We weren't very good about taking photos on the route, but clearly we wore Annie out!  She had a great time meeting Charlie and Calla, and we had a great time visiting Odessa, Weatherford, Frankston, Jackson, Corinth, and Nashville!  Thanks to everyone we were able to visit on the way!
